Grigorieff, Dr. Hersehung, and a student named Melinoff were sentenced to death for participation in the murder of M. Bogdoanovitch, Governor of Ufa, in May last, and M. Sipiaguine,; the Russian Minister for the Interior, in April. The tribunal forwarded to the Tsar an appeal for clemency by M. Grigrrieff, who ofbrs to sacrifice his life in the Far East as a common soldier. The other two prisoners were executed. "■.;..,■ ...v.'
As a result of the trials for the murder of Jews at Kishinieff one of the prisoners has been sentenced to four years' imprisonment and sixteen others to terms ranging from four months to one year. Thirty-six .of those charged were, acquitted.,. ,
