tBT TELEGRAPH.—OWN OOUKF.SPOSDENT.] Waihi, Wednesday. As a result of the recent visit to Tauranira of Mr. Blair, of tho Public Works Department, the Tauranira Railway League and County Council are favouring the extension of the PaCroa-Wilihi railway to Tauranga in preference to the Rotorua-Te Puke route. Efforts are being made to secure a visit from the Minister for Railways at an early date.
