SUPREME COURT SENTENCES.
[BY TELEGEAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Wednesday. The Chief. Justice to-day sentenced prisoners as under: Robert Gawn and James Northey, for theft at Wellington, to two years; James Mangan, for theft at Palmerston North, to two years; James Gripps, for theft at Nelson and Hastings, to 18 months; Leonard Stokes and Arthur Grogan, for horse-stealing at Eketalnma and Hutt, to 12 and six months respectively; and Robert Hayes, for indecent assault at Wanganui, to four years.
