LAWN TENNIS.
Intending competitors at the New Zealand lawn tennis tournament, to be held on the Napier courts under the auspices of the Hawke'sßßary r Association at the end of the present month, are reminded that entries for all championship events close with the hon. secretary (Mr. Barry H. Keesing) on Monday next. ' ' T „ . , Tennis players going from New Zealand will have plenty of chances for championship games next year" in Australia. _ lne South Australian Lawn Tennis Association advises that championships will be held at the Jubilee Exhibition Oval Adelaide, on February 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28 1904. The hon. secretary of the Victorian Association (Mr. J. F. Koch, 443, Chancery Lane, Melbourne) announces that Grace Park tournament will commence on the second Satu - day in March, and continue for the four following Saturdays. At Easter the Gcelong meeting takes place, and also there » the usual championship meeting at Launceston next Easter. Mr. Koch hopes that a team from New Zealand wil) visit Australia and compete in the interstate championshipsVictorians, he assures the New Zealand hon. secretary, would mos<. heartily welcome a Maorilaud team.
