TEACHERS' SUPERANNUATION SCHEME.

The Wellington branch of the Educational Institute, at their meeting this morning, discussed the teachers' superannuation scheme, and resolved: "That this meeting considers the superannuation scheme as essential to the well-being of the educational system of the colon}' —(1) To assist in attracting the best candidates available to the profession (2) to provide for the retirement of those teachers who, through advancing years or length of service, are no longer classed as efficient; (3) to maintain, the system in a state of efficiency." It was also decided to earnestly ask the Premier' to bring in a Superannuation Bill during the present session.
