OLD HAURAKI G.M. CO. The Old Hauraki Gold Mining Company yesterday secHred 201b of picked stone from the lode at the 160 ft level, and 61b from the winze at No. 1 level. MINERALS, LIMITED. The following telegram was received from the manager of the Minerals, Limited, yesterday: —" Have been paddocking since Monday," expect first wash to take place next week." Later the manager telegraphed as follows: —"'Blocking out along main drive. Driving prospecting crosscuts east and west of No. 1 shaft to intersect new' lead." THAMES BORING OPERATIONS. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CO-RESPONDENT.] Thames, Wednesday. The borehole is now down a depth of 944 it, and is still penetrating sandstone country. OLD ALBURfIA. [BY TELEGRAPH.— OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Thames, Wednesday. Another reef was intersected to-day in the Moanafcaiari tunnel. Its size and value are, however, as yet unknown; but it appear* to be a strong body of quartz, and a strong stream of water is at present flowing from it.
