Wellington, Wednesday. In the Foxton divorce case of Colloy v. Colley, the Chief Justice ordered that ihe wife, who was the petitioner, should have the custody of all the children, and that the respondent should pay alimony at the rate of 36s a week.

Dukedin, Wednesday. The directors of Donaghy's Rope and Twine Company have declared an interim dividend of 3j per cent. The Competition Society's second festival is proceeding. Mr. J. B. Pahiatua, Wednesday. At the S.M. Court a settler was fined 40s and 10s respectively od two charges of storing explosives without a license. The inspector of explosives said he wanted it known that the Government would in future enforce the law in regard to this matter.
