WOOLWICH EXPLOSION.

After further investigation the officials declare that 7 9.2 in shells exploded, representing 3221b of lyddite and 31711b of steel. A piece of shell weighing 3lb was carried a mile and a-half into the Albert Dock. General Andre, on behalf of the French army, sent a warm message of sympathy with the sufferers by the explosion. Mr. Brodriek, the Secretary for War, thanked him for his great kindness.
