MANUFACTURE OF TEN LOCOMOTIVES.
TENDER OP A THAMES FIRM ACCEPTED.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Saturday. An important contract for the bui'.ding of locomotives has been let by the New Zealand Government, and the tender of Messrs. A. and G. Price, engineers, of Thames, has been accepted for the manufacture of tea locomotives for £28,000. There were six other tenders.
