POST OFFICE PROMOTIONS.
[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Tuesday. This following promotions of postmasters have been decided upon, in addition to the appointment of Mr. Gumming, of Napier, and Mr. Sheath, of Hokifcika, to be chief postmasters at Wellington and Napier respectively : —Mr. St. George goes from the Bluff to Hokitika; Mi. Hester, from Kaiapoi to Bluff; Mr. Brown, from Paeroa to Ivaiapoi; Mr. Algie, from Arrowtown to Paeroa.
