RUSSIA AND THE PERSIAN GULF.

St. Petersburg, May 15. The Russian newspapers are incensed at Lord Lansdowne's recent declaration with reference to the Persian Gulf. They assert that Russia will continue the Trans-Caspian or Trans-Caucasian railway to Bander Abbas.
