Notice is hereby given that an Extraordinary General Meeting of the abovenamed Company will be held at the Office of the Company, Fort-street, Auckland, on TUESDAY, the 26th day of May, 1903, at 2.30 o'clock in the afternoon, when the subjoined Resolution, which was passed at the Extraordinary Meeting of the Company, held the 27th day of April, 1903, will be submitted for Confirmation as a Special Resolution :- That the following Article be substituted for Article 92, viz.:— The Directors may, before recommending any dividends, set aside out of the profits of the Company such sum as they think proper as a reserve fund to meet contingencies, or as an insurance fund, or for equalising dividends, or foi repairing or maintaining any property of the Company, or any part thereof, and for such other purposes of the Company as the Directors shall, in their absolute discretion think conducive to the interests of the Company; and may invest the several sums so set aside upon such investments (other than shares of the Company) as they may think fit, and may. from time to time, deal with and vary such investments, and dispose of all or any part thereof for the benefit of the Company, and may divide the reserve fund into such special funds as they think fit, with full power to employ the assets constituting the reserve fund in the business of the Company, and that without being bound to keep the same separate from the other assets. '< Notice is hereby given that application is Intended to be made to the General Assembly of New Zealand for leave to bring in a Bill at the next Session thereof having the title abovenamed and that copies of the said Bill will be deposited at the Office of the Examiner of Standing Orders on Private Bills before the commencement' of the next Session of Parliament or within 14 days thereafter. The objects of the said Bill are to provide that all real and personal property which belongs now or may hereafter belong to the Grand Lodge of Antient Free and Accepted Masons of New Zealand or Lodges subject thereto may vest in and be managed by trustees and that on any change in the Trusteeship becoming necessary the title to such property shall devolve upon succeeding trustees without the expense of conveyance or transfer being incurred and to provide facilities of proof as to Trustees.
