EDUCATION QUESTION IN THE TRANSVAAL.

Capetown, May 14. The Synod of the Dutch Reformed Church of Pretoria has adopted resolutions condemning the Government's policy of education, on the grounds that it does not afford sufficient facilities for teaching the taal, and claiming that control of State schools ought to be entrusted to a representative committee. The Rev. Bosnian declared that reconciliation was impossible under the present system. j
