London, Ma,y 13. Professor George Darwin, Plumian Professor of Astronomy and Experimental Philosophy at the Cambridge University, in the course of an address at the Royal Institution said that the days were calculably lengthening, and that the time would come when a day would be equal to Wo of the present days, the earth rotating only 18 times monthly.
