SATURDAY'S RUGBY MATCHES. At a meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby Union last evening, arrangements were made for next Saturday's matches, as under: —
FIRST FIFTEENS. No. 1 Ground: Ponsonby v. City, Mr. G. Katterns.
No. 2 Ground: Grafton v. Parnell, Mr E. Gittos.
At North Shore: Newton v. North Shore Mr. A. Campbell.

A match will be played at Ellerslie on Saturday between members of the "A" Battery and Victoria Rides companies. The teams will bo picked from the following players: "A" Battery: Messrs. Ballantine, Harley, Hayson, Smith, McMillan, Jaggs, Doiill* Hutchinson, Nicholls, Ansoll, Laurie, Allen' Petersen, Mitchell, Harrison, Woods, Stewart. Simson, Bennett, Craig. Victoria Rifles: Messrs. Kelly, Lyons, Carter, .Jackson, Owens, McMillan, Aylet't (2), Bullon, Gribble, Can tell, Walkor, Schofield, Ninkie, Goldstone, Parker, Oakley.
THAMES RUGBY UNION. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN <.'OIUtK.SJ.'ONI)K\T.] rr „ „ Thames, Wednesday. I he Management Committee of the Thames Rugby Union met this evening and elected Mr. W. Johnston chairman for the ensuing year. Mr. A. Bateman was elected a member of tho Management Committee. The matter of choosing a selection committee for representative matches was allowed to stand over for a week. The fixing of a date for the Waihi-Thames representative match was deferred. Messrs. F. Ladner, W. Moehan and R. Price were appointed referees in the senior, first and second junior matches respectively for next Saturday,
