Capetown, May 8. Mwanga, formerly King of. Uganda, is dead.
A British protectorate over the country subject to King Mvranga was proclaimed in 1894. In 1897 Mwanga left Uganda, and headed an insurrectionary movement In Buddn, which was suppressed He then fled to the neighbouring German territory, and his iwfant boh, was declared King of "Uganda, with » native council of regency.,
