PING-PONG.
A large and enthusiastic meeting was liel'd in the West End Rowing Club's boathouse on Thursday evening last, when the West End Ping-pong Club held its annual mooting. The report and balance sheet were read by Mr. C. S. Mitchell. The outgoing president (Mr. W. Edwards) complimented the officers on the success which had" followed their efforts, and although the club had not been altogether successful in the association matches, lie trusted that this season they would occupy a more prominent position. As in order to become members of the ping-pong club it is necessary to be a member of the rowing club, the more responsible club derives much benefit from this winter same, besides tlio social intercourse between the older mombers. The Executive Committee for the year are: President, Mr. .T. A. McKenzio; vico-presi-deut, .Mr. C. S. Mitchell; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. E. 0. Wykes; committee, Messrs. Brown, Quin, and Strokes.
