Our Waitekauri correspondent writes : — Afc the conclusion of the Sunday-school work last Sunday, Mr. Cockbum, on behalf of the school and staff, presented Miss Alice Noakes, who is shortly to be married to the' Rev. W. B. Scott, with a lovely set of silver-mounted carvers with ivory handles, as a token of the esteem in which she is held, and as an appreciation of her work in connection with the children during the past three years.
