RESIGNATION OF A FINANCIAL SECRETARY. By Telegraph .—Press Association.—Copyright. (Received April 9, 12.58 a.m.) London, April 8. Hit. Hayes Fisher has resigned the Financial Secretaryship to the Post Office owing to the judge's strictures on his directorship of the bankrupt telescriptor syndicate. Mr. Fisher assured the House of Commons that he paid £5000 in purchasing at par every share be had sold. Amid cheers Mr. Balfour assured him that his action raised his reputation for honour and integrity. Sir H. Camp-bell-Bannerman. expressed sympathy and commendation. Mr. Blake, for the Irishmen, stated that he had vindicated his reparation.
