THE TRAMS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — have seen a letter in your paper by a country visitor re the speed of trams. Are we to take to the 'buses again? I say, motorman, let her go. One morning I went in a tram as far as the reservoir, at the corner of .Karangahape Road and Ponsonby Road, and it took us 14 clear minutes. Next morning I took the ArchhilV 'bus, and it took us 17 minutes, only three minutes difference, and uphill nearly all the way. I hope the Tramways Company will see that all 'things pass cut all right.—l am, etc., R. 0. Tapping. Fort-street, April 6, 1903.
