AUCKLAND PRESBYTERY.
An ordinary meeting of the Auckland Presbytery was hold at St. Andrew's Church last night, the Rev. R. Ferguson presiding over a fair attendance of members. A cordial welcome was extended by the Moderator and members of the Presbytery to the Rev. Duncan McLennan, of Logman, Scotland wiio has recently arrived from the Old Country to take up ministerial work in the colony. Mr. McLennan accented a call to Waipu. An application was received from Paeroa to be constituted a separate charge. The matter was postponed for a month. J. he resignation of the Rev. Mr. Thomson, of St. James' Church, Thames, was received and accepted.
