1 [BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Palmerston North, Saturday. The Editing Committee of the New Zealand I Jersey Cattle Breeders' Association, at a meeting last night, attended by delegates from Taranaki, Wairarapa, Feilding, and Palmerston, passed resolutions recommending the association, in connection with the issue of the second volume of the Herd Book to refuse to register names duplicating others | already taken by breeders, and with a view | of simplifying -'egistration breeders should | register a prefix with the association. Fully 500 applications have been received for legislation in the first volume of the Herd Book
