ACTION AGAINST A BANK.
[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Saturday. In the action, Reid v. Bunk of New South Wales and others, claim for £6800, alleged damage, for misrepresentation in connection with the sale of a property, the Chief Justice in giving judgment held that the evidence was equally balanced, and as the onus of proof rested with the plaintiff, he must give defendant the benefit of tho doubt.. Costs, however, would not be allowed any of defendants, except the bank, and it only received £75 and court fees.
