MADAME MELBA'S SEASON.
FINAL CONCERT TO-NIGHT. Madame Melba will give her second concert in Auckland this evening at the Opera House, when an entirely new programme will be presented. This will constitute positively the final appearance in New Zealand of the gifted diva, who leaves for Australia by the Waikare on Monday next. The booking for this' evening is exceptionally heavy, and the demand for seats continues. A limited number of half-guinea seats in the stalls are still available, Everything points to an overwhelming audience, and the second Concert promises to be even more brilliant than the first. . Madame Melba and party leave for Rotorua on Friday morning, returning on, Saturday evening by special train.
