Arthur Jones. £103 16s; nietalUng Thames-Waikawau Boad. J. W. Rickett, £60 15s; metalling: and making culverts, Tara-' > ru Creek Road, Ja*. Hawke. £135 16s; widening and metalling Karaka Creek Road. G. and H. Peploe, £95; widening and metalline Lower Kauaeranga Valley Boad, Win. Verram £76 17s; removal of sand and debris, Jlatntqke Road, W. J. Hall, £70; defining; and i widening drain, Matatoke ; Road. . Tlms. Edwards, £18; cartage of stone from railway to Townsend's Road, J. W. Rickett. .£-'): IC*: new bridge, Maratoto Boad, Robt. Cox. £99 lis; supplying and spreading shingle on Vha- • ngamata to Wentworth Road, John Sainstury, £69 7s. Seven applications were received for the position of assistant clerk, and that cf William Smeaton Clark was accepted a» a salary of £100 per annum. For the position of forest ranger four applications were received, and that of Manfred McMahon was accepted for twelve months at a salary oi £1 1 per week. ~
