The Union Company's steamer Omapere is due from East Coast ports on Monday. THE TALUNE. The Union Company's steamer Tftlune leaves Gisborne for Auckland to-day. and should arrive to-morrow morniiag. She leaves for East Coast and Southern ports at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. _ THE WAIPORI. The Union Company's steamer Waipori arrived from Westport early this morning, and anchored in the stream. Tho steamer left 1 Westport on Tuesday night last, and met with fine weather throughout the passage. She will berth at the Queen-street Wharf this irorninjj to discharge her cargo of coal.

THE WAIKARE. Tl;o Union Company's steamer Waikare is due from Sydney to-morrow night, and after medical and Customs inspection, will berth at the wharf. The Waikare leaves for Sydney at 5.30 p.m. on Tuesday. THE EIMUTAKA. The New Zealand Shipping Company are advised that the Auckland passengers by the Ritnutaka, which arrived at Wellington from London, on Thursday, will reach Onehunga by the Takapuna this morning, and the cargo by the Talune, which arrives at Auckland tomorrow. . THE TAVIUNI. The Union Company's steamer Taviuni is due from Westport on Monday next, and proceeds on to Fiji at noon on Thursday. THE MOURA. The Union Company's steamer Motira has resumed her running in the Dunedin-Kast Coast-Auckland trade, and is due at this port on Thursday next. THE OVALAU. The Ur.ioii Company's steamer Ovalan, Captain P. G. Huttou, arrived from the Eastern Pacific early yesterday morning, and after medical and Customs inspection berthed at the Queen-street Wharf to discharge her cargo of fruit, copra, pearl shell, etc The Ovalau left Auckland on September 10. and arrived at Rarotonga on the 16th. and Papeete on the 19th. Called at Jlauke. Aitutaki, and Parotonga. ou the return trip, leaving the latter island at midnight on the 24th. and anchoring in the harbour at 4 a.m. yesterday. Strong north to north-west winds and heavy seas prevailed to Rarotonga; light, winds and calm seas through the islands: thence to arrival strong south-west, to north-west winds and heavy seas. The Ovalau leaves for the Islands again on Tuesday evening. THE RAKANOA. The Union Company's steamer Rakanoa, Captain G. J. Hull, arrived from Fiji early vesterdav morning, with a cargo of raw sugar. The Rakanoa- left Suva oiv September 26. with south-east winds, with dull, cloudy, weather, and slight sea. Passed Cape Washington at 826 p.m. the same day. and on the 26th met with fresh head winds and rough seas, which continued until the 30th, when the wind went, into the northward, blowing fresh, ami moderate to rough following seas and dull, showery weather; thence south-west and south winds, moderate seas, and cloudy weather to arrival. __ __~ FRENCH WARSHIPS. . n The French cruiser Protot arrived m Papeete from South America, shortly before the Ovalan's arrival, and the gunboat /elec was also in harbour when the Ovalau lett.
