DEPUTATION OF TAILORS.

Wellington, Thursday. A deputation from the Tailors' and J?ailoresses' Conference, waited upon the 'lon. W. Hall-Jones and placed before him certain resolutions in regard to the.establishment of a State clothing factory, and in favour of making binding in Auckland, an award subscribed to in other centres by unions and masters.
A deputation representing small tailors, desired the Minister to stop the practice of travellers who take chart measurements in country districts, and have suits made up in factories.
