OLD AGE PENSIONS.
, Mb. Hutchison, S.M., held a sitting of the 'Old Age Pensions Court for the Onehunga > dislrict yesterday at the courthouse. Mr. King represented the department. Certificates were authorised to Mary Ann Burnett, /William Henry Allen, and i'epaa Whirihana, *18; Mary Poky, £17; and Mercy Williams, *10. During the investigations Mr. MaI hony (solicitor) appeared for one of the claimants, but the deputy-registrar objected, 'Stating that neither solicitors nor barristers ; «j*4 any standing in the Pension Courts. The ; v 3ench upheld Mr. King's contention.
