ANNUAL MEETING. , ; ' THE annual meeting of the shareholders' in the Clevedon Steam Navigation Company WM held in the Public Hall, Clevedon, on June 21; Mr. J. S. Wilson in the chair. The profit for the term shows £221 13s W. : from which amount the directors write oil £82 as depreciation on steamers, leaving » • balance of £139 13s 7d. This, added taitiWJ amount forward from last year. £113 17s W. • leaves an available balance at date of »2H lis 2d. The directors recommend a divider of Is 3d per share be paid, absorbing =£!» ss, and the balance, £97 6s 2d, be carried to next year's accoants. Although the company's business during the past 12.montM shows a falling-off, your directors are pleased , to state that a further sum of £100 has/beea, paid off the steamer. In accordance wit* ; the articles of association, Messrs. Anson, Walsh, and Grainger retire from" the directorate, but being eligible offer.thenMWWJ-".. for re-election. It is with much regret thai the directors have to report the death of the company's auditor, Mr. O B. Waymojtn, who died at Whangarei last month. Tney appointed Mr. W. H.
