London, June 23. Henry Beels, a Covent Garden porter, who was Mr. Spicer's assailant, has been committed for trial.
» Mr. Spicer, a London paper manufacturer, on returning homo on Peace night, was attacked by hooligans and beaten to death.

London, June 23. Mr. and Mrs. Seddon and Mr. and Mrs. Barton- were guests at the Inner Temple ball, and have been invited to meet the King and Queen at the Coronation luncheon at the Guildhall on July 3.
