A STORE BURNED.

[BY TELEGRAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, Monday. A store occupied by Mr. John Jones, in Sydenham, was totally destroyed by fire this morning. The outbreak was caused apparently by a defective chimney. The stock was insured for £375 in the Australian Alliance office, and the furniture for £75 in the Royal office. The property belonged to Mrs. James Brown, and was insured for £200 in the Guardian office.
