THE PRICE OF LAND IN CAMBRIDGE.
Our Cambridge correspondent writes: — Property has changed hands to an unprecedented extent in and about Cambridge lately, but the limit would seem to have been reached when it is stated that land within a mile of the post office is fetching as much per acre as it does in many of the Auckland suburbs. There is a great scarcity of dwelling-houses, a state of affairs which is impeding the town's progress. However, I hear that several houses are to be erected shortly.
