CHINESE CONCESSIONS.
♦ BRITISH INACTIVITY. By Telegraph.—Press Association.— London, June G. The great concessions secured in 1898 by a Petrin syndicate, representing the British-Chinese Corporation in Shanghai and Hon an, are still untouched, though the Belgians, Americans, French, and Germans have considerably developed theirs. This inaction is attributed to the British Government's bias against the concessionaries.
