Nev Zealand Insurances were looked for at 77 . 6d, sellers 795. For South British 80s 6c ■was offered, sellers 82s 6d. National Insurances had inquiry at 20s 6d, and Standards at 17s 9d, without sellers. Auckland Gas (old) were in demand at £13 18: 6d, with sellers at £14 2s 6d. Milne and Choyce (preferential) , had buyers at 23s 6d {io selling price being quoted. In mining ines Kuranuis sold at sd, May Queen Haurakis at and Monowais at 2s sd. Komata Reefs were done at Is sd. Crowns were looked for at 12s 9d, sellers 13s 3d. For Tairua Broken Hills 9s 3d was offered, sellers 9s 9d. In other lines late prices ruled. • . CO. . £2270 FROM 490 TONS. * During May the Tairua Broken Hills Gold Mining Company crushed and treated at their battery at Tairua 490 tons of ore for a return of bullion valued at £2270.
