The cable steamer Anglia arrived from Fiji early yesterday morning, and sailed for Sydney shortly afterwards. - The three sections of the Pacific cable already laid will be formally handed over by the contracting engineers to the Pacific cable representatives on the 10th prox. -. By Telegraph.— Association.— Brisbane, April 29. Since the opening of the Pacific cable there has been a large amount of business, especially from the New- Zealand end. Some difficulty is experienced in coping with the extra work over the lines between Queensland and the Southern States.
