SUGGESTED VISIT OF AN ENGLISH CRICKET TEAM.
[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, Thursday. Mr. F. C. Raphael, secretary of the New Zealand Cricket Council, in accordance with a motion of the Council, has written to Lord Hawke, suggesting that he should bring an amateur English cricket team to New Zealand, and has also written to the Agent-General asking him to do what he can to further the project.
