Sir Joseph Ward and Lady Ward, who arrived to-day, were entertained at a banquet to-night by the local bodies, representatives,; and citizens, in the Opera House, the Mayor presiding. Over 150 sat down, and the gallery was well filled with spectators, ladies being numerous. To-morrow night Sir Joseph Ward delivers a political address, by the special request of citizens.
