A sensational highway robbery has occurred at Tort Adelaide. At two o'clock this afternoon Mr. Greenaway, general manager of Block XIV. Mining Company's works, and Mr. Winter, assistant manager, <, were driving from the bank to the -works. . j with a bag* containing £1232 to pay wages., | Just before they reached tlio works two, mounted masked men rode tip and ordered-, 1 them to bail up. Mr. Winter continued; driving. One horseman drew a revolver and shot the home. Greenaway and Winter were thrown out. The former was stunned and Winter injured his leg.' Winter attempted to draw a revolver, but was covered by a revolver and compelled to put up his hands. The robbers secured the money and galloped off. The police are pursuing them. Greenaway's injuries necessitated his removal to the hospital.
