MISCELLANEOUS PICTURES. The present number of -the Auckland Weekly News is highly attractive. The series of illustrations depicting the Wangamii River have never before been equalled. The Weekly News' special photographer spent considerable time on. this famous tourist route, and secured a number of views which will be greatly appreciated by the public both here and abroad. They are attractive, not only on account of their picturesqueness, but also on account of their expression of native life. Another series of pictures which Will appeal to the public are the groups representing some of the sections forming the South Island portion of the Eighth New Zealand Contingent. These, with several views of life in the northern contingent's 'camp*at Trentham Park, complete a very interesting series of pictures.
The New Zealand and Australian Natives' Association picnic to Home Bay, Motutapu, the visit of the Auckland: Fruitgrowers' Union to the famous Red Bluff orchard, the Feilding and Waipu New Year sports, and the Phillips-Nathan wedding, make interesting illustrations. Croups and portraits and miscellaneous pictures, together with 1 ample letterpress, complete a very attractive number, which is now on salcj and can -bo obtained from all newsagents and runners.
