ENTERTAINMENTS AND MEETINGS.

DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY. The City Hall was very largely attended last night, when Mr. Dix's company was augmented by new artistes. The Coleman Sisters, / who appeared for the first time, were an instantaneous success, and wore encored three times. Their turn was a song and dancc act of an excellent standard, finishing with a clever series of neat and agile acrobatic feats, which quite roused the house. Mr. Wallace King, the popular tenor, was, on his reappearance, greeted with prolonged applause, which becaxno a perfect ovation. Needless to say he had to respond to several encores, and firmly re-established himself in his audience's favour. Madame Dante's quaint and picturesque illusionary dance act again proved popular, the limelight effects enhancing the turn considerably. The last two nights are announced of Miss Lizzie Kirk, Mr. Frank Leon, and Mr. Edgar Granville, the trio of J on«'on artistes. CONCERT AT ON HUNG A.
