DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY.

The City Hall was crowded last night to its utmost capacity, when the present excellent programme was received with unbounded enthusiasm. The new finale, entitled "The Auckland Cup," ' caused a perfect roar of laughter. : Pope and Sayles aro still the pronounced favourites they always were, and are nightly greeted with the heartiest applause. A specially clever turn is that of " Keildcrs<m," in his imitations of celebrities past and present. Miss Olive Lenton is a pronounced favourite, and is always enthusiastically received. : The Lenton Trio, acrobats and hat-spinners, and Messrs. Murphy and Mack, Irish comedians, give specially clever contributions to the programme.
