The report of Mr. Barnes, liquidator of the London and Globe Finance Corporation, reveals that Whitaker and Wright, the deputy-chairman, made daring shifts to conceal reckless speculations. The balancesheets were shamelessly cooked on a Urge scale and systematic ©'forts v'ere male to bribe the press.
