TE AROHA WARDEN'S COURT. A short sitting of the Court was held on Wednesday morning, under the presidency of Mr. 11. S. Bush, S.M. and Warden. Ike following residence sites were granted: —R. 0. Hendy, J. S. T. Short, F. C. Brown, and T. F. Holt (three in Waiorongomai). JBrien was granted exchange of title. A surrender of the Mocking Bird special quartz claim was granted to T. Gavin.
THE ALLEGED SALTING OF MINES. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunethn', Saturday. Replying to a deputation to-day, the Premier said the proper course of action with reference to the alleged "salting" on the West Coast was for the aggrieved parties to seek a civil remedy. If the parties took action the Government would back them up; to do otherwise would be to reverse the proper course of procedure in. such cases.
