SUFFERING FROM A SEVERE . COLD. "AFTER I CONTINUED TREATMENT I WAS IN BETTER HEALTH THAN I HAD BEEN IN TWO YEARS." Fop. all of those conditions of the system revealing a loss of vitality and a general decline of health, there has never been a remedy found so effectual as Scott's .Emulsion. This statement may seem a trifle overdrawn, and yet it is not, because, in the first place, ocience has never found a substitute for cod-liver oil, and in the second placa Scott's Emulsion makes this oil . not only sweet to the taste, but actually mora effectual than it is in any other form. Here is the case of a gentleman in North Wales, who was not in good health, and had been suffering for two years from a severe cold. To quote his own language: — "27, Marcus-street, Carnarvon, "North Wales, February 15, 1899. " Gentlemen, — gives me great pleasure in testifying to the merits of Scott's Emulsion. For tho last two years I have been suffering from a severe cold, which was accompanied by terrible pains in the chest and stomach, especially in the region of the heart, and I also raised blood. I tried different things, but they did not seem to benefit me in any way. I happened to read about Scott's Emulsion, and I wrote you for a sample bottle, which you were kind enough to send me. After I had continued treatment I was in better he?. 1 .!!! than I had been for the last two years. Besides finding Scott's Emulsion so strengthening, it is most pleasant to take. I shall recommend it to all my friends, as I think it invaluable.— Yours faithfully
" (Signed) Robert Hughes." The problem in administering cod-livei oil is to overcome its taste, and also to give it in a form that will not tax digestion. The reason plain cod-liver oil is not practical is because it is hard to get patients to take it, and even if they do succeed in taking it, their digestive system finds it a burden, and consequently very little of it is absorbed into the blood. Scott's Emulsion is perfectly palatable, and it wraps each minute globule of oil in a thin coating of glycerine, and in this way greatly facilitates absorption without digestive effort. The. hypophosphitos of lime and soda in Scott's Emulsion help materially in giving the system strength and a, healthier tone throughout.
HEALTH AND HOW TO OBTAIN 11. READ WHAT VITADATIO IS DOING. MR. S. A. PALMER, Agent for Webber'.? " Vit-adatio." Sir,—lt is with feelings of deep and heart, felt gratitude that I write to thank you for the benefit I have received from " Vitadatio." It has honestly made a grand chango in my life. For the past fifteen years I have been a martyr to Indigestion in its worst form. For over two (2) years I was practically helpless, bpintr doubled up and quite unable to straighten myself. My stomach was so weak that I was unable to take more than four ounces of very light food per day. consequently I became weak generally, and within a short time I fell away to a mere skeleton. I was attended by some of our leading doctors, and must have . drunk gallon.; of various kinds of medicines, all to n purpose. Whilst in this miserable condition I read of several cures of Indigestion by ""V iladatio," so almost as a last resource I decided to give it a trial, and right glad I am that I did so. After a few large bottles I felt groat relief. I continued with the medicine, and all along could could feel the " slow but sure" re turn of health, until here I am to-day perfectly restored and without an ache or pain in the stomach after food. I can now e*t three good meals per day and enjoy them. I am at a loss for words wherewith to mpress my gratitude, but you may be suro I shall spread the good news that Webber's "Vitadatio" can, and has, cured Indigestion in its worst form. I hand you this testimonial perfectly voluntarily, and you may have my permission to use it as you deem advisable. I shall bo pleased to interview and give details of my case to anyone.
