SENSATIONAL BOLT.
[BY TELEGRAPH.OWN" CORRESPONDENT.] New Plymouth, Friday. A sensational bolt occurred in Devonstreet East this evening. A horse attached to a gig, driven by Mr. P. J. Carthew, bolted, and the gig capsized in a watertable, throwing Messrs. Carthew and Wallath heavily to the ground. Wallath was injured, necessitating his removal to a doctor. Carthew was also badly shaken, and the gig was badly damaged.
