Will be REOPENED NEXT YEAR At rp II E p A 11. The Pah Estate, which is well known all over New Zealand, occupies a beautiful and commanding position near Onehunga. The soil is volcanic, the grounds are sheltered from the west and south winds by a belt of trees, while the aspect is sunny and the view extensive. The Estate includes an area of 48 acres, part of which is laid off in plantations, but the greater part of which may be used by Pupils of the School as Playground. As the Pah is not more than a mile from Onehunga Harbour, the Boarders will have the advantage of Sea Bathing in the season. The House is large and well-appointed, and the Boarders will have the benefit of pleasant and comfortable surroundings. The Classrooms will be apart from the Dwellinghouse, and adjacent to a large quadrangle. A Workshop and spacious Gymnasium will be fitted up. A Special 'Bus running morning and evening for the convenience of Day Pupils, will connect with the Onehunga trams. The Headmaster, the Rev. P. S. Smallfield, will be assisted by a Competent Staff of Resident and Visiting Masters. A Second Assistant-Master and a Junior As-sistant-Master will be required for next year. Applications should be addressed to the Headmaster. As hitherto, instruction in Holy Scripture will form a regular part of the school course. Tlio Most Rev. the Primate will be the Visitor of the School. A new Prospectus will shortly be issued, giving more detailed information. Copies of present Prospectus, stating terms, etc.. may be had at the Diocesan Office, Victoria Arcade. The Autumn Term will begin on MONDAY, February 10, 1902. Sir G. M. O'Rorke, Speaker of the House of Representatives, has publicly stated that the Pah is the most suitable place in Auckland for a Boarding School, and the site cannot be surpassed in the whole of the Australasian Colonies.
