FRENCH SHIPPING BOUNTIES.
<p. By Telegraph.—Press Association.— Paris, October 30. M. Millerand, Minister for Commerce, has introduced a Bill withdrawing bounties from sailing vessels in favour of steamers. The bounty on French-built vessels is 277 francs per ton, and on foreignbuilt vessels smaller.
