SHAM LIBERALS!
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—Mr. Napier talks much about "the great Liberal party." and this in connection with voting for £100 per month for each and all members. Humbug! Wo must not have any party hero; especially must we extinguish the sham. Liberal party. Most illiberal measures to be accepted, if advocated by the great Liberal party fosooth! I asked members to take off three-quarters of present duty from all sorts of tobacco and tea. No, say "the great Liberal party," we want our pay increased !—I am, etc., Ax Eiectoe.
