AUCKLAND SHAREIVIAJRKEI. Tub sharernarket was quiet yesterday. There was scarcely any change in investment lines. Avondale Brick and Pottery sold at 22s 6d, and (here were further offers of 225. In mining lines -May Queen Haurakis sold at 6(1. Monowais showed improvement, buyers offering 2s 2d. Welcome Jacks were wanted at 9£d. Tairua Broken Hills sold at 3s 3d, and at closing time there were more buyers at Hie same figure, with sellers at 3s sd. There was improvement in Talisman Consolidateds, buyers offering 225. Waitekauris were called for at 7s, with sellers at 9s 6d. Oilier lines were quoted at late rates.
THE COLD RETURNS.
The gold returns for the past three weeks come out at the satisfactory total of £63,313 2s 6d, exceeding the total for any threeweeks yet recorded. During the past three months there has been won from the Auckland mines, gold to the total value of £220,556 10s 4d.
RISING SUN G.M. CO
The manager of the Rising Sun mine reports that he is still driving north and south on the foot wall reef. The country is firstclass. In the northern end the reef is improving in size and value, and payable ore is coming from the south end.
