WRECK AT FIJI.
This Norwegian barque Norden, bound from Capetown to Fiji to load copra for Europe, was wrecked:; on the reef at the entrance ; to Suva Harbour on the afternoon of June 27. The barque, which was an iron vessel of 800 tons register, .was in ballast, and grounded on the reef during an easterly.. wind. , The wreck was sold on June 29, the Union Steamship ,Company: of New Zealand being the purchasers. 5; All 'the sails and • gear were taken -out of the vessel, which at last advices was piled ■. high iup •:on \ the : reef :on ' her beam | ends, . owing to heavy'seas sweeping her from end . to: end. F> It is believed that there is no possible hope of refloating the vessel.
